ASP

ASP can have two different meanings:

1. Active Server Pages
   Service scripting language developed by Microsoft that makes it possible to make dynamic web pages, including scripts and ActiveX-elements.
2. Application Service Provider
   A service provider who offers clients access to applications. Clients do no longer own their own software, they hire the application from an asp.
