CEPT

The Conference Europeéne des Administrations des Postes et Télècommunications (CEPT) is a voluntary cooperation between the European administrations in the field of telecommunications and post.

The CEPT can make Recommendations and Decisions. Because the CEPT is a voluntary cooperation, the Decisions and Recommendations are not legally binding. The various administrations notify CEPT if they commit themselves to the decisions taken.

The telecommunications issues are dealt with within the Electronic Communications Committee (ECC).
