E911 - Enhanced 911

Enhanced 911 (E911) is a service that automatically provides the callerīs geographic location and wireless phone number to the 911 call centre. This service is obligatory in the U.S.

The E911 service has to provide precise geographic location information within 50 to 100 metres of the callerīs exact location.
