FM-band

The FM-band is the popular term for the frequency band that is used for FM radio broadcasting. In Europe and most other parts of the world this band ranges from 87.5 - 108 MHz. In the Americas it starts at 87.8. In Japan the FM broadcast band is 76–90 MHz.
The band is also known as Band II.
The band is divided in channels with a bandwith of 200 kHz.
