Radiocommunications Assembly

The Radiocommunications Assembly is responsible for the structure, the work programme and the approval of radiocommunication studies and associated Recommendations from the ITU-R. A Radiocommunications Assembly is convened every three to four years, normally prior to a World Radio Conference (WRC).

The Radiocommunications Assembly has set up a Radiocommunications Advisory Group (RAG) to:

  • review the priorities and strategies of the ITU-R,
  • monitor progress of the work of the Study Groups,
  • provide guidance for the work of the Study Groups,
  • recommend measures to foster cooperation and coordination with other organizations and with the other ITU Sectors.
