SDSL

Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line (SDSL) is a standard to transfer data over existing copper telephone lines up to 3 Mbps. SDSL is called symmetric because it supports the same data transfer rates for both upstream and downstream traffic. A subscriber must have a special SDSL modem to take advantage of SDSL.
