Simplex

A radiocommunications technology that allows only one way communication at any one time. The operating frequency is either used for listening or for talking. This kind of operation is e.g used with a walkie-talkie where you have to push a button to change from listening to talking.

This kind of operation is called half duplex in fixed networking/datacommunications.
