Telecom ABC - S
The S-band (Short) is a portion of the microwave band ranging from 2-4 GHz and a wavelength of around 10 cm. Although other ranges are also used (especially 1.55 - 5.2 GHz). The S-band is mainly used for mobile communications, including IMT-2000/UMTS, mobile satellite communications and radar systems.
